Submissions

The submission deadline is extended!

You are invited to submit your abstract for the International Meeting of the STACK Community 2021. Proposals are welcome in English on topics related to STACK.

Contributions can be made in the following formats:

  • Workshop (60-90 minutes)

  • Presentation (30 minutes)

  • Lightning Talk (15 minutes)

  • Poster

Regardless of the contribution format, an English language abstract of up to 500 characters must be submitted by February 5, 2021*. After a review by the program committee, you will receive a notification of acceptance/rejection by February 26, 2021.

Abstracts of proposals should be submitted using the ConfTool**at https://www.conftool.net/stack2021/.

Presentation and pre-recorded video instructions

  • Presentations must be delivered in English.

  • Each presentation is 30 minutes long. It is recommended to use 20-25 minutes to present and 5-10 minutes for discussion. Each lightning talk and show and tell presentation is 15 minutes long. It is recommended to use 10-12 minutes to present and 3-5 minutes for discussion. The workshop is 90 min long but the format is free.

  • The recommended file types to be used for presentations are PowerPoint or Portable Document Format (PDF).

  • The recommended file types to be used for posters are jpg or png. Minimum width is 1000px (26.46cm), minimum height is 600px (15.88cm), maximum file size is 3 MB and no transparent background.

  • The recommended file type to be used for pre-recorded videos is mp4 format.

  • Speakers are requested to upload their presentation and/or pre-recorded videos by April 23, 2021* using ConfTool.

Proceedings

Accepted contributors will also have the opportunity of publishing a paper based on their contribution on the OpenAccess platform Zenodo.

Workshops, presentations, lightning and show&tell session talks should have 6-8 pages in LNI-Format (Word template, LaTex template), posters 1-2 pages in LNI format and the poster.

A peer review in the form of a tandem procedure is planned. Details of the procedure, and in particular your tandem partner, will be provided upon notification of commitment.

Unlike the first call for proposals, we expect your first version to be published by May 30, 2021*. After the review, it is scheduled for publication at the end of June.
